I wanted to start photographing around the area where I live rather than the city.  My first stop is Hilltop Hanover Farm & Environmental Center located in Yorktown Heights, New York. The farm dates back to the 1600’s and was purchased by  Westchester County in 2003 for watershed protection and agricultural education.  The only animals running around are chickens as you can see by the above photo.  Below is a look at the old dairy barn.

Below is a Guinea Hen.  You definitely want these around because they eat ticks which are in abundance in this area.  I just love the coloring on these birds.
