Muscoot Farm is another great farm located in Somers, New York.  It is owned and operated by Westchester County.  Muscoot Farm was founded in 1880 and operated as a dairy farm until 1960 when Westchester County bought it.  Today it is a wonderful place to go hiking, visit the farm animals and just enjoy the beauty of this beautiful area.

Muscoot Farm was known as a “Gentleman’s Farm” as you can see by this beautiful old house that served as a summer home  for the original owner, Ferdinand Travis Hopkins.

  1. I love each of these shots but the one of the house (full frontal) is so beautiful and has a feeling of melancholy to it.. Just lovely as all your work is!
