The Water Nymph
A combination of a vintage portrait with photographs I took at at the Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Gardens and Waveny Park in New Canaan, Conneticut. I didn’t start out with this combination but when I laid an image of the Botanical Gardens water pool over my original combination, this nymph like figure appeared. It is always fun to play around with images because you never know what will happen.
The images I used from Botanical Garden were photographed with my Sony Rx100 V. A super small camera that takes very sharp beautiful pictures in any light. My go to camera when I’m someplace I can’t bring a large camera or tripod but I want something a little more flexible than my IPhone.
