Walking around New York City you can’t miss the large double-decker buses loaded down with tourist getting a bird’s eye view of this great city. I decided to photograph these buses whenever I came across them because I got such a kick out of watching the people on the upper deck. Here are few I love.
The rush to done the yellow plastic bags when it starts to rain.

I used to think that that some of the big cities in Europe were very media centric – that is – full of billboards and neon billboards and ads on buses. It appears that NYC has caught up!!!
I wonder if I stand still too long if I’ll have an ad slapped on me!
Great positioning!
Thank you David! Just looking up and shooting!
Great set Karen, I’m sure I would really like to walk around NY.
Thank you Mark! New York is definitely a walking city buts its huge!
They are great!
Thanks Kathy!
These are fun! So appropriate as my husband and I were playing tourist in Manhattan yesterday, and every tour bus that came past waved to all of us at the Caliente Cab Co. I guess we were on a prime tourist route!
Thank you Marina! That part of the Village is a prime tourist route! I do enjoy seeing tourist enjoy the city.
Great photos, Karen. I believe our group has been booked for a bus tour — I wonder if I should bring plastic wear! 🙂
God Bless You!
Thank you Deidre! I do believe the bus tour provides those plastic bags for you to wear! Its a great way to see the city and pick out places you want to see on foot.
