The Man In The Street
I was in Manhattan yesterday and did a little street photography in the rain. The background of this image was taken with my IPhone X shooting straight down onto the street. It was a corner in SoHo with a pedestrian walkway and a lot of red and white colors swirling around it. It really popped in the rain. All I could think of was an abstract painting. I decided to bring in a vintage image I colorized and obtained online through the Metropolitan Museumof Art’s Open Access program. I used gradients to fade the man into the street. I liked the combination of the vintage image with this modern abstract background.
This is my all time favorite. I am continually
amazed by your art. Teach me !!
