Like Ghosts the Shadows Rise and Fall

“Like ghosts the shadows rise and fall” from the poem The Sleeper by Edgar Allan Poe.
I photographed the room at the Trans Allegheny Insane Asylum. Both walls are covered with paintings. The one on the left is from the Metropolitan Museum’s open access collection and is “The Allegory of the Planets and Continents” by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. The painting on the right wall is “Diane Reposing’ by Paul-Jacques-Aime Baudry from The Walters Museum open access. The woman is one of my vintage images.
I made the woman blur in motion so she appeared more ghostly and coming almost from the wall.
Just lovely yet again
Thank you Susan!
