I photographed the room in an abandoned sanitorium in Pennsylvania. The woods were photographed in Baxter Preserve in North Salem, New York. Both images were photographed using my IPhone X. I came up with the original concept on my Ipad using the Diane app which arbitrarily mixed the two images together. I like the juxtaposition of this old, peeling paint room where one feels like a prisoner and the wide open space of the woods where freedom awaits.
