What Once Was

What Once Was

Happy Father’s Day!

I photographed the above room at Pennhurst State Hospital with Abandoned America a few years ago.  I get a little tired of the same old abandoned images out there, though I do love them.  I decided to add a pencil sketch texture to this to pop the detail and change it up a bit. The detail in this room is really interesting.  The old bulletin board on the left has this great red white and blue star and stripes theme running around it, the torn paper hanging above it tacked on the wall has the partial words for “schedule”.  In the back, written on a shower wall are the letter “ntom.  Could it be “phantom?”
