The School Boy
I found this great watercolor portrait by John Henry Brown called “Portrait of a Young Man.” It is part of the open access collection on the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s website. I, of course, had to change it up a bit. The background was photographed at an abandoned school I visited with Abandoned America. The little house is from a flea market and the spider on his shoulder is courtesy of Pixelsquid. I really like the way the blue hallway with red numbers framed the young boy. It added a graphic feel to a rather creepy image!
