Philipsburg Manor

Philipsburg Manor is located in the village of Sleepy Hollow, New York.  It is closed for the winter but I was able to capture some shots from the road and parking area.  It’s a really beautiful place having been created in the late 1600’s.  The Manor and 20 acres were preserved by a donation by John D. Rockefeller Jr. and became a National Historic Landmark in 1961.

I took the photograph below from the sidewalk .  I just love the old barn.  The entire Historic Hudson Valley is really a fantastic place to visit and photograph.

The image  is looking out across the farmland to the Hudson River.
